Mr. Madhok was formerly employed at MCI WorldCom International where
he successfully launched a number of web-based customer tools, enabling
online management of value-added telecom products thus improving
customer retention, increasing revenues and reducing operating costs.
Within corporate strategy and business development, he assessed
and provided recommendations on viable acquisition opportunities
in Europe and Asia. He also validated WorldCom's entry into the
US$50bn European SME market and formulated a market strategy for
successful operation based on a comprehensive business case, including
recommendations on positioning around xDSL.
Prior to MCI WorldCom, Mr. Madhok was a Senior
Analyst at Cambridge Strategic Management Group, where he made significant
contributions to strategy consulting projects, designed business
strategies and provided position-strengthening recommendations for
high profile clients ranging from telecom equipment manufacturers
to global operators and finance houses. He also managed the creation
and development of business models and reports and worked directly
with board members and managing directors. Projects included feasibility
studies for trans-continental fiber-optic cables, business plans
for mobile infrastructure and market strategies for value-added
telecom services.
Mr. Madhok began his career at Goldman Sachs as
an Operational Analyst, where he gained valuable operational experience.
He attended the University of Liverpool, England, where he received
a B.A. with honors in Economics and Mathematics.
